The Laughing Cow, a modern brand of processed cheese in its iconic round packaging, celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2021 and has been spreading smiles in more than 130 countries worldwide thanks to its delicious taste. The Laughing Cow was born in 1921 when Léon Bel founded the company Bel Sýry (Fromageries Bel) and created a brand that became the first registered cheese brand with a trademark in France. Three years later, the processed cheese in individually wrapped portions, as you know it today, was introduced. The Laughing Cow contains the best of milk and is a favorite snack for the whole family. Spread on bread and served with fresh vegetables, it is a suitable part of a varied and balanced diet because it is a natural source of calcium and high-quality proteins.
